What measures do we have to take after implanting stents?

Stents are now used in nearly all angiography procedures. A stent is a tiny coil but vital device usually used to put into highly opened or narrow arteries. It helps in narrowing arteries and makes them capable to function better. They are usually inserted in an angiography procedure, either as an emergency to treat major cardiac conditions including heart attack, or even used to widen an artery that is narrowed or stuffed by fatty plague. Usually, a small metal mesh tube goes inside the coronary artery at times of angioplasty to prevent the artery from closing up again. Stents are very useful for heart patients, but one should take proper precautions after implanting stents.
