WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE HEART ISSUES AFTER COVID- 19

Covid-19 it's basically a viral infection caused by SARS COV-2 coronavirus, it's basically a respiratory disease that affects the lungs and the respiratory tract, some of the symptoms that are common in coronavirus are dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, loss of taste, and smell. Having this symptom is not at all connected to the heart but, what if I tell you covid-19 can also lead to heart-related problems.

The covid-19 coronavirus can damage the heart muscles and affects heart function.  This may be due to several reasons, basically, the heart cells contain angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 receptors where the coronavirus attaches before entering the cells. Because of this there can be hard damage due to a high level of inflammation in the body, during this the immune system fights the virus but the informative process can damage some healthy tissues including the heart.

As observed in 60% of patients diagnosed with covid-19 have a high pulse rate this is because, the coronavirus also affects the inner surface of veins and arteries, which lead to blood vessel inflammation, blood clots. Even the severe COVID 19 patience is diagnosed with an affected endothelial cell which forms the lining of the blood vessel.

#Heart rate and COVID-19:-

It is often observed that people having covid-19 experience rapid heartbeats and palpitations. Common symptoms of irregular heart rhythm are

• Rapid heartbeat or irregularity in the chest

• Feeling lethargic or dizzy while standing

• Chest discomfort

#Possible heart issue after covid 19:-

1) Severe fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pain are the common problems that people experience after covid-19.

2) Type 2 heart attack this heart attack can be caused due to increased stress on the heart such as fast heartbeat, low blood oxygen level, interrupted oxygen, and blood supply.

3) Heart failure some of the common symptoms of heart failure after covid-19 are breath shortness, swelling in the legs, extreme pain in the chest region, decreased potential while doing work.

4) Inflammation of heart muscles during covid-19 the body's immune system overreacts to the infection that releases inflammatory molecules in the bloodstream, they are called cytokines, this cytokinin can damage multiple organs including the heart.

5) Decreased oxygen supply leads to heart damage covid-19 patients the first symptom is lack of oxygen due to the lack of oxygen the blood pressure may drop or spike, due to this sudden stress on the heart this can lead to heart damage.

6) Formation of blood clots there has been a rise in the number of clot incidents after covid, the covid-19 may deteriorate the limbic system, blood vessels, as well as lungs. Coronavirus can lead to the formation of blood clots and damage the internal lining of the blood vessels causing heart problems.

7) Excessive sweating after covid-19 is also a sign of cardiac arrest, this may be due to clotting in the blood, due to the clots formed in the arteries the sweating happens, this is because of irregular regulation of the body temperature.

Coronavirus has affected many lives in the past two years, maintaining a healthy lifestyle proper exercising schedule, and eating a healthy diet can help you to prevent any of the problems after covid-19. Mostly patients diagnosed with covid-19 have fully recovered and lived a healthy lifestyle.
